About the Position: This announcement is for a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC) is located at the U.S. Army White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in the G6 Cybersecurity Directorate with a duty location of White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. (merit) Student loan repayment, recruitment incentive, relocation incentive, and PCS may be authorized if it is determined to be in the best interests of the Government.
What You'll Do
- →Manages and directs the White Sands Missile Range cybersecurity program and serves as the principal advisor to the information security workforce.
- →Establishes and enforces cybersecurity, communications security, and emanation security policies, procedures, and guidance for all information systems.
- →Coordinates vulnerability testing, system assessments, and incident response activities to prevent and mitigate unauthorized access attempts.
- →Oversees assessment, authorization, and accreditation of information systems and recommends approval or rejection of systems to senior leadership.
- →Performs full supervisory responsibilities, including assigning work, evaluating performance, resolving personnel issues, and planning workforce training.
