What You'll Do
- →As a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) at the GS-2210-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Security Program Management & Oversight Oversee a team of Cyber Security and Classified Lab security professionals to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data.
- →Establish and publish agency-wide policy to manage and lead the implementation of security programs designed to anticipate, assess, and minimize system vulnerabilities.
- →Oversee the implementation of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other mandated security infrastructures (e.g., ACAS scanners).
- →Manage and maintain the Information Assurance (IA) Awareness Program, including computer-based training.
- →Ensure each agency system undergoes Certification and Accreditation (C&A) using prescribed DoD methodologies.

- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
