This position is location negotiable upon selection at a CEC duty location within Montana This position is located at Office of the Chief Information Officer Technical Support Division. This is not a remote position. You will be expected to report in person to your designated duty station office.
What You'll Do
- →As a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (GROUP MANAGER), you will: Mentor and assist staff with identifying issues, prioritizing tasks, defining goals and producing positive results.
- →Develop and manage the scope of a project (e.g., project objectives, team, tasks, deliverables, timelines, hours, costs).
- →Keep senior managers informed of any issues or requests by customers that might be elevated to a higher level.
- →Communicate complex technical requirements and issues to customers with various levels of technical expertise.
Requirements
- ✓This supervisory position requires successful completion of USDA supervisor training per Departmental Regulation 4040-412-002.
- ✓Successful completion of the training curriculum is a requirement for those subject to a supervisory probation period.
