Incumbent will serve as the Manager of the Cybersecurity Compliance Branch (AIS-120).
What You'll Do
- →As the Manager of the Cybersecurity Compliance Branch (AIS-120), you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the agency's FISMA-reportable IT inventory within the Governance, Risk & Compliance Division.
- →You will direct the management of system records within the Cyber Security Assessment and Management (CSAM) system, ensuring continuous compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements through the planning, scheduling, and execution of security control assessments.
- →As a subject matter expert on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards and the Risk Management Framework (RMF), you will facilitate the security authorization (ATO) process, review assessment results for quality and risk impact, and maintain the Agency Authorization Handbook.
- →Your role involves the authoritative interpretation of emerging OMB guidance, legislation, and regulatory directives, where you will translate complex requirements into actionable implementation plans and guidance for stakeholders across FAA Lines of Business (LOBs).
- →Additionally, you will serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the Cybersecurity Compliance contract, overseeing contractor performance, managing procurement requests, and validating technical deliverables to ensure programmatic success.
- →Through proactive collaboration and rigorous monitoring, you will ensure the agency's cybersecurity posture remains resilient, risk-informed, and fully aligned with federal mandates and industry's best practices.
