This position serves as a Supervisory IT Specialist, located in the Office of Information Technology, Executive Office for Immigration Review, U.S. Department of Justice. The Supervisory IT Specialist is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of IT services and operations, network and telecommunications services, and customer-facing support services.
What You'll Do
- →The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory IT Specialist GS-2210-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Serves as a Supervisory IT Specialist with responsibility for directing and managing enterprise information technology services, including customer support, network operations, communication systems, and systems administration.
- →Provides oversight of end-user computing services, including desktop systems, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and telecommunications services.
- →Monitors systems administration activities to ensure reliability, availability, and security of enterprise systems.
- →Develops, implements, and maintains IT policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- →Plans and assigns work based on priorities and employee capabilities and establish performance standards and evaluate employee's performance.
Requirements
- ✓Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
- ✓For the GS-14 level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone.
- ✓No substitution of education for experience is permitted.
