This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Architect (Supervisory Senior Project Engineer) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District USMMA IPO.
What You'll Do
- →Provides technical advice and assistance to field personnel on reported or observed construction problems.
- →Participates in pre-work conferences with contractors to inform them of field construction requirements.
- →Arranges for and participates in acceptance inspection of completed facilities.
- →Ensures continuous inspection of construction by quality assurance representatives.
- →Manages and participates in the contract modification and claims process.
- →Manages and performs office engineering functions.
- →Serves as first line supervisor.
