About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located with INSCOM, Office of Assistant Chief of Staff, G3 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as Deputy and Senior Civilian Advisor to the Assistant Chief of Staff, G-3.
- →Exercise operational oversight of the Command and in the determination of policy, mission, and operational requirements.
- →Evaluate the technical effectiveness of all G-3 operations.
- →Plan work to be accomplished, interpret policy and procedures and establish priorities.
- →Conduct major staff studies and review of operational plans and policies.
- →Supervise preparation of final documents for the G-3 and Command Group approval.
