About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1U301 US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD.
What You'll Do
- →Performs duties as the Chief, G2X Division, responsible for providing direct support and technical guidance to elements conducting HUMINT, 2X, and Counterintelligence operations in the USAREUR-AF Area of Operations.
- →Manages, directs, and supervises the G2X Division, serving as the Rater and/or Senior Rater for all assigned employees, and is responsible for organizing, resourcing, and directing Theater Army 2X, HUMINT, and CI activities.
- →Serves as the principal advisor, representing USAREUR-AF's needs to the national community on all resource issues dealing with the Foreign Counterintelligence Program, Security and Intelligence Activities Program, and Military Intelligence Program.
- →Negotiates and finalizes agreements with allied intelligence and security organizations to support Theater Army current and contingency operations.
- →Reviews proposed and ongoing intelligence activities, operations, and investigative activity to ensure compliance with DoD, COCOM, Department of the Army, and Army Theater regulations.
