About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1U301 US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD.
What You'll Do
- →Conducts independent overt liaison operations with military and civilian intelligence, law enforcement, and security agencies to facilitate the secure exchange of critical force protection and intelligence data.
- →Serves as the primary G2 representational authority to host nation, foreign, and U.S. national-level counterpart intelligence and security agencies, ensuring seamless theater-level coordination and interagency cooperation.
- →Manages and resolves complex information requests and assistance requirements between supported theater command headquarters and international partners, while coordinating high-level bilateral visits for senior military and civilian officials.
- →Executes overt intelligence and counterintelligence collection activities in close coordination with Country Team members and defense attachés, drafting and publishing formal Intelligence Information Reports (IIR).
- →Directs personnel management and supervisory operations for the liaison element, to include assigning analytical workloads, evaluating employee performance, establishing training standards, and enforcing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies.
