About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the USAINSCOM, Mission Support Command, FOIA/IRR Fort Meade, MD.
What You'll Do
- →Exercises the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act (FOIA/PA) program controls over the US Army Intelligence and Security Command and its major subordinate commands; and the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence.
- →Develops and recommends policy and guidance for the overall conduct of the DA FOIA and Privacy Act Programs and establishes standards and procedures designed to assure command-wide compliance with pertinent statutory requirements.
- →Establishes policy and procedures for effective management of all intelligence, counterintelligence and investigative and personnel security records in the US Army Investigative Records Repository, a Department of the Army records repository.
- →Provides oversight on records management projects for the Department of the Army.
- →Plans, directs and evaluates the operations of the office to achieve optimum work flow/production within all allowable fiscal and staffing levels.
