Air Reserve Technicians are full-time civilian employees who are also members of the Air Force Reserve unit in which they are employed. In addition to their civilian assignments, they are assigned to equivalent positions in the Reserve organization with a Reserve military rank or grade. Appointee's civilian assignments will consist of the following duties.
What You'll Do
- →Duty 1 - Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group.
- →Duty 2 - Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Exercises technical and administrative supervision over a highly experienced staff of analytic, operational, and support ISR personnel responsible for the planning and management of highly complex analytic support and ISR operational functions.
- →Duty 3 - Represents HQ AFRC, NAF, Wing, and ISR Group with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Duty 4 - Manages ISR training and readiness for the group.
- →Develops operational plans, standard operating procedures, and implementing instructions, which pertain to general military training and readiness of assigned unit personnel, ISR, and command center communications training.
