The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command Directorate of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Division Chief for Plans and Programs and Senior Electronic Intelligence authority, the incumbent serves as the director's chief planner and liaison with the HQ AFSOC programs directorate for all ISR planning and programming issues.
What You'll Do
- →Organize and manage development of intelligence war-fighting systems to address command war-fighting requirements.
- →Establish goals and schedules Establish, revise, or review policies, procedures, mission objectives and organization as necessary to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment.
- →On behalf of the director, develop recommendations and, upon order, supervise a variety of actions for the planning, programming, and program execution of special operations ISR capabilities.
- →Represent the interests of the Air Force and AFSOC at meetings and conferences.
- →Voice the director's position and, as required, vote as the director's representative in different USSOCOM and United States Air Force (USAF) meetings.
- →Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities Manage, coordinate, and oversee work through subordinate task leaders.

- →Apply expert analytical skills, and profound knowledge of operational concepts, doctrine, and procedures, to determine the actions necessary to secure resources for support of a variety of missions through the MAJCOM/Air Force/DOD Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process.
Requirements
- ✓ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS.
