About the Role
This position is in the Excepted Service under U.S.C. 50 § 3024(v) and appointments are made without regard to the requirements of the Competitive Service by laws, Executive order, or OPM regulations. Position located in the Energy and Economic Security Division of the Bureau of Intelligence and Research Office of Economic Analysis (INR/ECON), supervising intelligence analysis on energy, economic security, trade, finance, and supply chains. Advises senior leadership on U.S. national policy.
What You'll Do
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities such as advising and providing counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- →Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Energy and Economic Security Division to ensure that intelligence products meet client needs and adhere to Intelligence Community, bureau, legal and regulatory requirements.
- →Serves as the Bureau's senior coordinator on intelligence issues concerning energy and economic security issues.
- →Informs Bureau leadership and senior staff of relevant issues and opportunities.
