This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for STEM positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with DPW at JBLM, WA.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for providing full range of real property and facilities design engineering, construction, maintenance, energy conservation, and related engineering services for an installation.
- →Oversee facility engineering services; statutory regulatory requirement execution (to include work classification management); multi-year design and construction contracts.
- →Supervise the activities of supervisory, administrative, specialist, engineering, and other technical personnel engaged in the engineering activities.
- →Participate in management reviews of operations and resource allocations, and assure implementation of established work improvement and simplification programs.
- →Make recommendations regarding use of allocated resources within authority established by higher level directives and supervisory delegations.
