The primary purpose to perform supervisory duties for QAE staff. Performs inspections to ensure contractors comply with requirements and meet the quality standards set in the Performance Work Statement with emphasis on the inspection of complex programming and engineering work, construction of new structures, and modifications or major repairs to existing structures. What You'll Do
- →Performs supervisory personnel management functions to include coordinating with representatives of other units concerning matters of work accomplishment, priorities, and procedures; making recommendations concerning the maintenance or replacement of equipment; reviewing work in progress or upon completion and gives advice, counsels, or instructs employees.
- →Performs inspections on the most complex engineering jobs for work being done by contractors to ensure quality of work is IAW established requirements.
- →Performs the most complex administrative and technical reviews.
- →Coordinates contract activity and resolve complex schedule or work conflicts.
- →Stays abreast of new engineering and construction policies and directives to ensure potential impacts on Academy operations are identified and programmed for.
