The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Supervisory principle Financial Resource Advisor under the direction of the Base Civil Engineer for Civil Engineering Group (CEG). Provides financial decision support and performs a variety of financial management functions.
What You'll Do
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
- →Provides advice, assistance, and guidance on budgeting and related information.
- →Ensures budget execution & work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred & the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources & types of funding are performed, such as direct & reimbursable annual, multi-year, & no-year appropriations; apportionment; allotments; transfer of funds from other agencies; revenue from industrially funded operations; & refunds.
- →Conducts analyses, reviews, & specials studies of budget and/or related information such as utility sales agreements, service contract levels of service, emergency response and facility infrastructure.
- →Develops and/or presents budget/financial reports, and conducts briefings to local and higher-level command officials as required.
