You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Material Planning Branch (224), Process Controls Division (220) Engineering and Planning Department (200) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for the timely identification, ordering and successful acquisition of the shop work related materials/services in support of non-nuclear industrial effort.
- →You will determine goals and develop plans to perform required functions.
- →You will identify causes, take action to reduce dollar value of material ordered in excess.
- →You will be responsible for the planning and coordination of complex acquisition plans for multiple ship work projects.
- →You will perform lesion functions within and outside the shipyard, contacting shipyard personnel at all levels of responsibility.
- →You will assign work to subordinate personnel, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
