You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform civil, electrical or mechanical engineering technician quality control duties.
- →You will provide technical advice associated with reviewing plans, estimates, and specifications on the design, coordination, modification, alteration, and/or additions to a variety of proposed Maintenance and Repair (MAR) projects.
- →You will review contractors site plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a variety of proposed maintenance, repair and/or new work projects involving construction, modifications, alterations.
- →You will review contractor's preliminary studies and determines the most logical design suitable for the maintenance and repair projects applying required engineer techniques.
- →You will ensure designs are in accordance with existing codes.
- →You will review contractor cost estimates for non-recurrent projects in engineering fields and cost estimates for the maintenance and repair program.
- →You will supervise a group of employees engaged in evaluation of contractor performance of public works functions.
