THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2652000 and is part of the PA Training Center, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement. What You'll Do
- →As a SUPERVISORY DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES SPECIALIST, GS-2030-10, you will assist in the development of plans and directs work within the DOL to include such functions as inventory and storage management, quality assurance, maintenance, procurement and property utilization and disposal.
- →Perform a number of supervisory functions within the DOL such as: Implements provisions of personnel management such as equal employment, merit promotion, performance appraisals, counseling, incentive awards, etc.
- →Render technical assistance and guidance to the DOL, Base Operations Manager, and higher levels of outside command for logistical services, and assists all other directorates with requisitioning supplies and equipment.
- →Review, propose, direct the development of and/or develops local supply management directives including those pertaining to warehousing and stock control.
- →Meet with National Guard Bureau personnel, other governmental agencies, state National Guard Commands and activities on logistical warehousing and storage matters, plans, policies and directives.
- →Assist in the development of plans to support organizations utilizing the GTC.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
