The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a second level supervisory contracting officer with warrant authority for an operational contracting acquisition flight providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over subordinate personnel.
What You'll Do
- →Plans and organizes the activities of the acquisition flight which include the full range of contracting support to installation organizations as assigned by the Squadron Commander.
- →Ensures contracting actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Represents the Contracting Squadron with a variety of installation and business organizations.
- →Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.
