About the Position: Works under the general supervision of the Chief, Construction Division for the Caribbean District with assignments made in terms of ongoing mission requirements. Serves as the Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO). As Area Engineer, is expected to plan, implement, and accomplish program objectives with a high degree of independence within available guidelines.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for developing and implementing the vision, mission, and direction of the organization by leading and managing an inclusive, diverse workforce that leverages the talents of each employee.
- →Uses an expert knowledge of professional engineering theories/practices of construction management to direct the successful prosecution of multi-million-dollar construction contracts throughout Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and U.S.
- →Virgin Islands.
- →Serves as the responsible professional for all work done in the Area Office.
- →Provides overall vision and leadership to ensure that the Area Office is properly organized, trained, equipped, and supervised to achieve optimum mission effectiveness.
