The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as the Chief Engineer (IAW Air Force Instructions) for the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center-Elmendorf (JITTC-E) and is responsible for development or sustainment of a major system that is a significant agency program and/or essential operating program. What You'll Do
- →Plans, organizes, and oversees the engineering activities for development or sustainment of all major systems or smaller multiple systems within the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
- →As a professional engineer, performs work in the application of multiple engineering disciplines to support the design, development, procurement, production, testing, evaluation, sustainment or operational maintenance of an AF or DoW-level major system with specialized applications.
- →Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
