About the Role
This position is in the Department of State (DOS), Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS), Deputy Comptroller for Bureau Financial Support Services (BFSS), Foreign Assistance and Independent Accounts Directorate (FAIA), Office of Overseas Buildings Financial Services (OBFS), Operations Execution Division (OED). Serves as a Supervisory Budget for providing the full spectrum of budget and financial management support to the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO).
What You'll Do
- →Provides the full range of first level supervision to direct hire and contract employees overseeing budget formulation and execution for all Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations operating and external partners funds.
- →Provides expert budgetary, accounts management and control, and other financial services to Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO).
- →Plans, organize, and execute budgeting in support of assigned appropriations, including formulating and/or coordinating budget estimates and cost-benefit analyses.
- →Manages the financial reporting system and makes recommendations for amending budgetary elements.
- →Provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the Department's financial management and budget programs, ensuring alignment with mission priorities and strategic goals.
