About the Role

This position is part of the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response, Department of Energy. As a Supervisory Budget Analyst, you will provide authoritative leadership in aspects of DOE's budget process and provide authoritative expertise in the analysis of a variety of highly complex DOE budgetary operations and functions.

  • Veterans shape the future of energy As a Supervisory Budget Analyst, you will: Provide authoritative leadership and expertise in all phases of the DOE budget process.
  • Ensure appropriate and efficient use of approved funding.
  • Serve as a primary consultant and advisor on complex budgetary and financial issues, identify and analyze emerging issues, and recommend courses of action.
  • Guide the interpretation and application of DOE budget and program guidance.
  • Supervise staff, including planning work, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, providing guidance, and recommending personnel actions.
