Located at Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General, AIG, Office of Audit & Evaluation. As a Supervisory Auditor (Performance), you will be responsible for performing audits, evaluations, civil fraud reviews, inspections, investigations, and for preventing and detecting fraud, waste and abuse within HUD and its programs and operations.
What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Auditor (Performance), you will: Responsible for planning, conducting and supervising independent and objective audits of HUD's component entities, programs, operations, and grantees receiving HUD funds and other activities related to HUD.
- →Oversee and support personnel engaged in the development of polices and program guidance and the delivery of expert technical advice and assistance to OIG audit management, as well as program liaison to assigned HUD agencies.
- →Oversee and provide technical and administrative supervision to a staff of performance and/or financial auditors.
- →Independently directs, plans, organizes, coordinates, and leads the program/field office in accomplishing the work within the framework of established priorities.
- →Serve as the technical audit expert within the program/field office and is responsible for resolving complex technical audit questions and issues.

- ✓National. **Current HUD OIG staff selected for this position will be afforded the opportunity to remain at their current duty station, provided it meets organizational needs.
- ✓Management retains discretion to confirm that the duty location aligns with mission requirements.
- ✓The applicant's background must also include one of the following: A certificate as a Certified Internal Auditor or a Certified Public Accountant, obtained through written examination; or Completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial course work in auditing or accounting, e.g., 15 semester hours.
- ✓The education generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.
- ✓If you are qualifying based on foreign education, you must submit proof of creditability of education as evaluated by a credentialing agency.
