About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to provide acquisition legal advice to all acquisition activities.
What You'll Do
- →Exercise Supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
- →Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. 2.
- →Represents AFMCLO/JAN with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. 3.
- →Principle legal civilian counsel on major defense acquisition programs and source selections. 4.
- →Principle legal civilian counsel in charge of preparation and presentation of Air Force legal position on bid protests before the General Accountability Office, under the guidance of the Division Chief. 5.
- →Responsible for the timely completion of administrative duties as assigned by AFMCLO leadership.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a graduate of a law school accredited by the American Bar Association, and be currently licensed as an attorney, in active (or equivalent) status and in good standing, with the bar of a U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
- ✓The attorney must maintain such bar membership in at least one jurisdiction during the entire course of employment with the Air Force.
