What You'll Do
- →Provides advice, counsel, and instruction to employees on both work-related and administrative matters.
- →Supervises and directs functions in support of accounting transactions related to contract payments, personal services payment, and material transactions for goods and services for the organization.
- →Oversees the accomplishment of technical work in accordance with policy, directives, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- →Interprets regulations, requirements, and policies to ensure compliance.
- →Ensures accuracy, propriety, and legality of accounting transactions through extensive review of documents.
- →Responsible and accountable for assigned program areas including the development, documentation, and operation of both internal processes and administrative, technical, and automated systems controls.
Requirements
- ✓GS-07 Substitution of Education for Experience: One full year of graduate level education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required when it is directly related to the work of the position being filled.
- ✓Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
- ✓GS-08 Substitution of Education for Experience: Eighteen months of graduate level education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required when it is directly related to the work of the position being filled.
- ✓Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
- ✓If you are using education to substitute for the specialized experience, you must submit transcripts at the time you apply.
- ✓To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S.
