What You'll Do
- →Ensures the accuracy of DOI Program Audit Coordination follow-up with Bureaus and Offices, including coordination of responding to GAO and OIG recommendations.
- →Manages program audit coordination follow-up for DOI Bureaus, ensuring timely response and implementation of recommendations by OIG and GAO.
- →Develops and enforces internal control policies and financial management guidance in compliance with Federal statutes and OMB Circulars.
- →Identifies and tracks recommendations advising Bureau and Office leadership on risk mitigation and compliance strategies.
- →Directs division operations, including supervision of subordinate supervisors, strategic planning, and program execution.
- →The Office of the Secretary has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and may be allowed with supervisory approval.
- →Salary Range Information (Per Annum): *First time hires to the federal government typically start at the beginning salary in the range for their respective grade level.
