You will serve as a SUPERVISOR IT SPECIALIST (POLICY/PLANNING) in the OFFICE OF THE COMMANDER of NAVINFOWARDEVCEN NORFOLK.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as Deputy N6 for NIWDC and provide oversight for all NIWDC and subordinate command N6 (information systems/information technology) functions.
- →You will provide technical leadership in the areas of project management, exercising responsibility for systematic review of requirements and problem definition preceding design of information systems solutions.
- →You will identify ways to consolidate and facilitate systems that extend across organizational and functional lines.
- →You will recommend organizational responsibilities and redesign of work units and workflow to establish effective and efficient system.
- →You will plan and assign work to subordinates determining work schedules, priorities, evaluate work performance and determine training needs.
- →You will review job descriptions of subordinates, participate in reviewing and recommend improvements of work methods, organizational features, and the structuring of positions.
- →You will identify requirements, plan, organize and distribute authorized personnel resources, prepare and present justification for organization structure, manpower and personnel requirements to accomplish assigned mission and functions.
- →You will coordinate the identification, tracking, and qualifications of Cyber IT/CSWF personnel on the NIWDC staff.
