What You'll Do
- →WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Small Business Specialist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Providing technical guidance to contracting activities on implementing HHS small business policies and procedures.
- →Drafting and updating policy memoranda, templates, guidance, and SOPs governing small business coordination, market research, and subcontracting.
- →Interpreting and applying FAR, HHSAR, SBA regulations, and Departmental policies to complex acquisition scenarios Evaluating acquisition planning documentation to ensuring adequate market research and set-aside consideration.
- →Analyzing small business performance data from FPDS, SAM.gov, USAspending, eSRS, and SBCX.
- →Coordinating with contracting offices, program offices, and acquisition organizations to resolve small business coordination issues.
- →Developing and delivering training on small business policy, HHS Form 653, and subcontracting requirements
