Serve as an IT Technical Manager supporting one or more Information Technology portfolios, product lines, products, and projects. A product line or program consists of one or more IT projects varying in size and technical complexity.
What You'll Do
- →Major Duties: Lead a team to conduct critical enterprise-wide asset and infrastructure identification, and dependency analysis for organizational systems.
- →Evaluate critical systems/infrastructure policies and strategies, compliance with the requirements, mandates and benchmarks of policies and strategies to affect tighter controls over capability delivery, deployment, and readiness protocols aimed at reducing potential risk of system outages.
- →Lead technical process improvement initiatives including the increased use of automation and transition to a organization continuous integration/continuous delivery and test-driven development framework.
- →Lead research and development efforts to validate improvements to enterprise and program performance standards.
- →Evaluate critical network and communications policies and strategies, compliance with the requirements, mandates and benchmarks of policies and strategies to affect tighter controls over infrastructure deployment and readiness protocols to reduce potential risk of system outages.
- →Facilitate technical problem solving and provide advanced technical analysis by proactively monitoring and measuring system and infrastructure performance and recommending necessary corrective measures for preemptive defect resolution.
- →Work closely with Portfolio Senior Technical Advisors and Technical Managers to develop a vision for future technical architecture that aligns with organizational standards and goals.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
- →Tour of duty may be subject to change based on organizational needs.
- →Travel Required: Up to 25% travel may be required, as needed, for this position.
- →Financial Disclosure Report: Required.
- →This is subject to completion of a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE Form 450) within 15 calendar days following appointment.
