This position is located in the Risk Management Agency (RMA), Deputy Administrator for Product Management (DAPM), Actuarial Prices and Filing Division (APFD). The incumbent serves as a Risk Management Specialist with primary responsibility of implementing new pilot/508(h) crop insurance programs, maintenance of new and existing actuarial structures and associated information, and data analysis with the purpose of disseminating actuarial documents,
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a Risk Management Specialist with responsibility for the implementation of new pilot/508(h) crop insurance program.
- →Conduct research on all federally administered policies, program plans, crop and livestock insurance information technology systems, and actuarial program data impacting the USDA crop and livestock insurance program.
- →Provides research and analyses results which contributes to the establishment, analyses, and reporting of program performance impacting several key programs.
- →Coordinates data sharing for common information in support of other USDA programs.
Requirements
- ✓You must be a US Citizen or US National.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓If selected, you may be sent instructions on obtaining fingerprints.
