What You'll Do
- →WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Research Science Officer, you will: Prepare and review reports, articles, monographs, and other materials for accuracy, scientific merit, adherence to agency policy, and official clearance for public dissemination.
- →Serve as the principal scientific advisor to the Division Director by reviewing research protocols and ensuring scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and adherence to applicable policies, ethical standards, and public health requirements.
- →Provide strategic leadership for the Division's research program by participating in policy and planning, coordinating information and resource needs, and establishing partnerships to strengthen program quality and effectiveness.
- →Supervise staff and direct administrative operations by overseeing workforce management, budget planning, strategic planning, personnel management, acquisition, contracts, and organizational resources.
