The incumbent coordinates clinical research at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, supporting studies to improve veteran health care. Responsibilities include participant recruitment, conducting assessments, data management, regulatory compliance, and scientific reporting. The role requires integrity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
What You'll Do
- →*This is Term NOT TO EXCEED 1 Year and 1 Day - may be extended up to 4 years at the discretion of management.
- →Major Duties: Designing and developing research projects, including interventions; management of regulatory and compliance items related to research projects Monitoring of project personnel and study task assignments to ensure proper execution of clinical research trials; and general project oversight.
- →Troubleshoots as needed to work through and solve research, evaluation, data and other logistic problems Working within a time frame to meet deadlines and be able to motivate research staff to work on this basis Prioritizing the needs of the research project.
- →Coordinating of research projects (including experience following protocols; enrolling and interviewing patients, and obtaining informed consent).
