About the Role
The Registered Nurse - Primary Care Outpatient Clinic (Fredericksburg HCC) will be responsible for collaborating with other health team members to develop, implement and coordinate patient care delivery to achieve maximum quality, patient centered care, positive patient outcomes, and appropriate utilization of resources to a culturally diverse Veteran patient population.
What You'll Do
- →Delegates elements of care to the appropriate individual based upon assessed needs, condition, and safety of the patient. -Brings primary care principles and theory with limited application of critical thinking skills. -Assumes the role of Charge or Co-charge Nurse.
- →Collaborate with the patients and care teams to develop meaningful goals for patients.
- →Subject to change based on needs of the clinic.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
- ✓Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.
- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- ✓Subject to background/security investigation.

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
