About the Role
About the Position: This position is located with the Department of the Army, HHB Eighth Army, located in the Republic of South Korea. As a SHARP Program Prevention Specialist (SAR WF), you are responsible for the planning, execution, coordination, and evaluation of prevention activities, training, education, and outreach for sexual harassment and sexual assault. What You'll Do
- →Provide guidance for the continual development, implementation, administration, promotion and revision of prevention goals, objectives, and initiatives related to the SHARP Program.
- →Analyze, assess, and clearly communicate program objectives, policies, operations, and resource data to commands SHARP-related prevention activities.
- →Support prevention activities for the installation that span across the socio-ecological model and support the development of methods and techniques required to execute the primary prevention capability.
- →Establish primary prevention activities to include determining goals, objectives, measures of performance, measures of effectiveness, assessments, and milestones.
- →Contribute to databases of record that allow for tracking, analyzing and evaluating primary prevention programs, training, and other related efforts.
- →Continually assess SHARP Prevention Program initiatives, execution to develop advanced plans, policies, guidelines and apply diversified knowledge and skills related to sexual harassment and sexual assault prevention.
- →Serve as a liaison for professionals in the fi eld of rehabilitation, social work, and psychology with emphasis on SHARP Program prevention capabilities and initiatives.
- →Participate in briefings and present SHARP Program prevention initiatives and implementation plans, prevention plan design, prevention impact findings, and use of research/evaluation, policy management, and process analyses.
