About the Role
The Registered Nurse - Nurse Manager Domiciliary serves as the first-line supervisory leader responsible for the 24/7 operations of assigned nursing units. The role provides clinical and administrative oversight, ensuring safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care. Responsibilities include coordinating and evaluating nursing care delivery, overseeing staff orientation, training, development, and performance, and promoting a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and professional growth.
What You'll Do
- →The position provides clinical and administrative oversight to ensure safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
- →The Nurse Manager oversees staff orientation, training, competency development, and performance evaluation while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
- →The role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, implement innovative and evidence-based practices, and address care delivery barriers.
- →The Nurse Manager ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, supports organizational strategic initiatives, promotes patient advocacy and ethical decision-making, and maintains a secure, supportive environment for both Veterans and staff.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

- ✓The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), or Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) must be fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission On Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
