About the Role
The Informaticist Registered Nurse (RN) exercises leadership in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of hardware and software applications integrated with the electronic health record (EHR) and associated programs/applications. The Informaticist collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, including other program and service leaders at the facility and network.
What You'll Do
- →The Informaticist Registered Nurse responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process, influences outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team, and executes position responsibilities that demonstrates leadership, experience, and creative approaches, and systematically evaluates current practice.
- →The Informaticist will assist in directing the provision of education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization.
- →Informaticist Registered Nurse (RN) proficiently manages in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of hardware and software applications integrated with the electronic health record (EHR) and associated programs/applications.
- →The Informaticist collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, including other program and service leaders at the facility and network.
- →The Informaticist will assist in directing the provision of education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and enhance outcomes utilization.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
