This position is in the Records Management Section under the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Assurance. The incumbent serves as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Program and Records Specialist under the general supervision of the Chief, Records Management Section. The Section delegates full responsibility for the implementation, administration, monitoring, and compliance of the National Labor Relations Board CUI, Records Management and Vital Records programs.
What You'll Do
- →As a Records and Information Management Specialist (CUI) (Assistant Program Management Specialist), GS-0308-13, your typical work assignments may include: Developing Agency-specific policies and procedures related to Controlled Unclassified Information and ensures they are properly codified in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
- →Keeping senior Agency management officials briefed on the agency-wide implementation of the CUI program on a reoccurring basis.
- →Developing and conducting periodic Records and Information Management (RIM) quality control reviews, compliance audits, risk assessments and surveys to measure the effectiveness of electronic systems and for general program improvement.
- →Leading the oversight, design and development of standards, procedures for all aspects of the program in order to support operational requirements and to meet the mandates of all governing statutes, Executive Orders, and regulations.
- →Leading Records Management Workshops, training events, and the training of new employees and personnel in records management practices and tools, to ensure best practices are being followed.
