About the Position: Serve as the Records Officer for the Office of Chief Information Officer, Arlington National Cemetery (ANC).
What You'll Do
- →Conduct searches and retrieve records for past matters, including processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
- →Schedule periodic Records Management assessments with regard to policies/procedures to determine the effectiveness of the program.
- →Develop filing and retrieval system for organization records in all media, ensures that such systems are adequate for the maintenance and disposition of records.
- →Develop instructional and informational materials for use in improving and standardizing recordkeeping systems.
- →Develop and implement accurate, thorough, and up-to-date Records Management policies/procedures to facilitate efficient record-keeping program organization wide.
- →Publish articles for organization-wide distribution concerning aspect of records management areas as required.
- →Collaborate with managers of organizational activities to negotiate work-related changes, resolve problems, and improve information systems capabilities.
- →Develop and champion long-range strategic goals and resource projections for RM programs to include preparing and monitoring program budgets.
