You will serve as a Range Technician (Seasonal). These positions may be filled for a seasonal period, up to 1039 or 1560 hours, but can vary due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: October 2026. You may be required to work on-call, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime and shift work. Pay will vary based on grade level and/or duty location for which you're selected. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.
What You'll Do
- →Employees selected at the GS-05 employees will at times be assigned more complex responsibilities requiring a higher level of knowledge and experience in the field of rangeland management and invasive plant control.
Requirements
- ✓Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- ✓Direct Deposit participation required.
