What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a communication conduit between units operating within a range complex and emergency response agencies.
- →You will coordinate real time scheduling and authorized use of firing ranges, training facilities, maneuver areas, and special use airspace.
- →You will control airspace of range training areas by utilizing knowledge of aircraft performance parameters (i.e. airspeed, altitude, etc.) to ensure safety of combat training and readiness events.
- →You will follow policies, principles and procedures regarding de-conflict combat readiness events.
- →You will execute real time scheduling to ensure availability of firing ranges, training facility, maneuver areas and special use airspace for training operations.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify for the GS-11 position based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows: Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
- ✓OR Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- ✓OR Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. https://www.usajobs.gov/Help/working-in-government/unique-hiring-paths/students/federal-occupations-by-college-major/ OR Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
