About the Role
The Cincinnati VHA Medical Center is seeking a Quality Management Consultant RN in our Quality and Patient Safety Services. The RN has position responsibilities that demonstrate experience, and creative approaches to improvement in quality-of-care outcomes. They will be responsible for the documented outcomes at the program level.The 2-page Resume requirement does not apply to this occupational series. - →Responsible for their assigned quality management program area activities for the Medical Center and all off-site locations.
- →Collects data, monitors staff compliance with relevant policies, directives, and standards, and provides reports detailing trends.
- →Provides direct staff support to all services in planning, designing, integrating, implementing, modifying, and administering, a comprehensive quality management program area.
- →Participates in facility councils, committees, and workgroups.
- →Preferred Experience: Previous Accreditation experience Supervisory Controls: The incumbent is responsible to the assigned rating and approving supervisors and is accountable to the Chief of Quality Management.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
- ✓Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.

- ✓Must pass pre-employment physical examination.
- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
- ✓You may be required to serve a probationary period.
