About the Position: This position is part of the Reemployed Annuitants Cadre, in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). On an as-needed basis, employees occupying these positions provide emergency support to disaster-stricken areas throughout the United States. This is a temporary appointment not to exceed 1-year. At management's discretion, the appointment may be extended for up to a maximum of 3-years or converted to a term appointment for up to a maximum of 6-years.
What You'll Do
- →Determine appropriate products or services with clients or customers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- →Manage work in the organization; oversee development of the Corps' natural disaster and emergency project(s) under which the Corps provides assistance to non-Department of Defense entities.
- →Maintain surveillance over emergency contract mission operations involving one or more contractors.
- →Give presentations or briefings on all aspects of the project and participates in phase, milestone, and final project reviews.
- →Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties which are auxiliary to the Response/Recovery work.
