The incumbent serves as Program Specialist at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System's National Center for Warrior Independence by providing a full range of Veteran housing support functions assisting in the formulation and development of organizational facility plans and property management for the Strategic Facility and Master Planning Office.
What You'll Do
- →At the National Center for Warrior Independence, we are deeply committed to ending veteran homelessness and empowering Veterans to achieve sustainable, long-term independence.
- →Duties include but are limited to: Coordinating between property management and case management to track Veteran residency status and support housing retention.
- →Managing utility billing and collecting financial information through audits.
- →Acting as the point of contact for billing-related inquiries.
- →Participating in community meetings with Veteran residents.
- →Conducting and documenting visual inspections of the outer grounds.
- →Supporting Office of Asset Enterprise management (OAEM) with monthly EUL inspections and leading annual EUL inspections (AOCC).
- →Providing property managers with flyers and information about upcoming construction impacts as well as Veteran opportunities and events Supports collection and delivery all required monitoring data, reports, and project documentation within established timeframes.
- →The LSM must also notify Housing Management Specialists, HUD-VASH, Safety, VAPD, OAEM, and ELT of any issues related to their assigned EUL project, following established communication protocols.
