This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Lakewood, Colorado. AN INCENTIVE MAY BE AVAILABLE FOR HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES AT MANAGEMENT DISCRETION. A SERVICE AGREEMENT WILL BE REQUIRED.
What You'll Do
- →As Program Manager, GS-0301, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to: Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates and prepare schedules for completion of work.
- →Assign work based on priorities, level of difficulty, and requirements of assignments.
- →Evaluate work performance of employees and provide advice, counsel, and instruction.
- →Develop and implement multi-year strategic plans, operational roadmaps, and performance frameworks that directly reduce administrative processing timelines for tribal energy projects and reflect current Energy Dominance policy priorities.
- →Maintain the official government-to-government relationship with tribal leaders whose lands are within IESC's jurisdictional service area and assess tribal energy development needs.
- →Plan and oversee major Bureau and Department-wide initiatives to develop and implement new systems, processes, and reporting tools with broad applicability.
- →Identify areas with potential for Bureau- or Department-wide application, coordinates with other Bureau offices, and fosters common operational practices.
