About the Role
This position is located in the Philadelphia Passport Agency (CA/PPT/PA). This position serves as a Program Manager, with a working title of Director and contributes toward the directorate's policy guidance efforts by leading the Passport Agency. What You'll Do
- →Serves as Director and fourth-level supervisor over the adjudication staff assigned to the agency/center; exercises the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
- →Conducts public relations with the media, travel industry, and citizen groups on issues regarding travel identification policies, international travel standards, and airline and border processing requirements concerning national security.
- →Analyzes and interprets directives and oversees the administration of laws/ regulations governing nationality as related to passport eligibility.
- →Supports the development and implementation of passport regulations, legislative initiatives, and policies, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- →Develops, justifies and defends annual budget requests for the assigned passport agency/center and reprograms funds as necessary.
