About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This Program Manager (Assistant Program Manager Acquisition) position is assigned to the Capability Program Executive Command and Control Information Network (CPE C2IN), located in FORT BELVOIR, VA.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, designs, develops, acquires, and implements major complex, critical IT and cyber security systems in support of the Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE) mission.
- →Demonstrates a thorough understanding of all phases of the FMS process under the ASAE construct.
- →Coordinates and develops procedures relating to financial management, acquisition, implementation, distribution, product support management and logistical support for the hardware, software, supplies, and services required by the project.
- →Serves as a Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) for assigned contracts and resolves contractual issues with Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) and Contracting Officers (KOs) as required.
- →Makes extensive use of technical resources external to the immediate project office, initiates, plans, and directs a variety of activities critical to mission accomplishment.
- →Responsible for the efficient and economical use of available resources, establishing policies and priorities, and conducting short and long range planning milestones and events for development and fielding of system(s).
