The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a Senior Program Analyst with the Capability Requirements Division. Assists the Division Chief and the Director in ensuring that all aspects of Air, Land, Maritime, Space and Cyberspace Domain capability, requirement and resource development and allocation are strategically executed.
What You'll Do
- →Develops, reviews, and analyzes capabilities, requirements and programs in relation to the development of policy and operations supporting Air, Land, Maritime, Space and Cyberspace Domain strategic combatant command programs and objectives as assigned.
- →Initiates, monitors and assists with research on capability, requirements, and program and resource issues, then analyzes options and recommends courses of action through authoritative reports, papers, briefings and correspondence.
- →Develops and tracks program requirements in concert with Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) governance.
- →Represents NORAD and USNORTHCOM and J8 with a wide variety of senior (up to and including GO/FO/SES) officials in the DOD, the military services, other unified commands, federal agencies, foreign governments and the private sector.
- →Advocates and explains the NORAD and USNORTHCOM command positions on assigned capabilities and requirements processes and experimentation /transformation areas.
