About the Position: This position is in the Engineering & Construction Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District. The incumbent is responsible for investigating, analyzing, and evaluating functions and processes to improve management and reporting of program and project information.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinate activities with other Engineering Division or District personnel, and with various aspects of Engineering and Construction Division program activities relative to overall expenditure of appropriate funds allocated to the Division.
- →Identify processes for improvement and coordinates for the development of integrated automation systems for effective management of a wide variety of civil and military works design and construction projects.
- →Perform continuous review and analysis of manual control and reporting systems.
- →Identify similarities and differences in the program funding, cost systems and performance measurements and identifies required programming changes needed to create consistent management processes and automation systems.
- →Review policy, guidelines, legislation, administration policy and Executive Orders; reviews activities and programs of Federal, State, and local entities which impact on Corps or District activities
